Capital City Youth Services
New Construction & Renovation
Capital City Youth Services (CCYS) is an organization aimed to prevent youth homelessness, delinquency, and dependency. +HSA was commissioned to design a second facility for the organization to use as a residential building. The facility, which will be 4,500 GSF, will accommodate six juveniles at a time. The building contains six bedrooms with private bathrooms in each, a dining area, and three offices for staffed personnel. A fourth office, located closer to the residential section, will serve as a 24-hour monitoring space for the supervisor on shift.
Additional scope includes the facade renovations of the two existing buildings. Design elements were chosen so the campus was a cohesive design.
