Greenville Senior/Youth Center
The town of Greenville, Florida has chosen Hoy+Stark to design a new senior/youth center to serve their local community through grant funding. Under strict grant guidelines and deadlines, +HSA has thus far kept the project on time and in-budget, providing design documents for a 3,500SF facility that serves both senior and youth community members with adequate spaces for recreation, cooking, studying, and exercise.
+HSA acknowledged the client’s security needs and designed panels that will open during public hours, but seal and lock when the facility is not in use, thereby thwarting any criminal intent. +HSA and the client envision the facility will also be used for community rental opportunities including family events, church organizations, and commercial use that will, in turn, allow the town to profit from its use.
